The style council - can you still love me acetate.
From the deleted style council album 'modernism a new decade' this track one that made it to the b side of their promised land release. This does not seem to be that version though as it has full vocals from Paul Weller. This acetate came to me with two others that I no longer have, both of which were unreleased tracks from the modernism lp. I am assuming that this is also from the same recording session.
This is a very rare uk town house metal acetate that is one sided only. Only a handful may exist if that many. I have not heard if another that has ever been up for sale.
The track itself is a good one. A house style track with female vocals along with mr Wellers. A dub version is also included.
There are no cat numbers on this acetate and no track length. It simply has the town house label with the track title and club and dub written in biro. Style council has been scribbled out for some reason.
The plain side has a production number that is 180705
Again, this is a rare Paul Weller vocal acetate from 1989. In amazing shape. Played maybe a couple of times once by me to check. It is vg plus with minimal wear no pops or clicks or background noise. In great shape for an original acetate. Housed in a plain card sleeve.
