Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

WILDY RARE original first pressing from 2001 on Haunted Town Records on BROWN MARBLED vinyl with hand numbered silver circular hype sticker in the bottom left hand corner on the front cover and huge glossy full color poster!!!  I worked with a girl who knew Matt from Haunted Town and I got this from him when I was at his apartment in Wicker Park here in the Windy City around 19 years ago.  I remember him saying four colors existed, the fewest in brown marble.  There were 2000 pressed in total meaning there are likely a lot less than 500 of these worldwide so don't sleep.  The band are finally getting some long-overdue recognition after Dave Grohl's recent book named them as THE band that changed his then-teenage life after he witnessed the power and fury of a Raygun show at the still-functioning Cubby Bear in Wrigleyville here in the Windy City in the 1980s.  Punk legends within the city limits but a mostly undiscovered gem to the rest of the world, this LP perfectly captures the explosive energy of the band on stage.  I got a black vinyl copy from Matt not long after I got this one and have been playing that one since then.  This LP has never been played.  Cover is pristine with four sharp corners.  Poster is spectacular.  A gorgeous copy of this rarity.  Sealed is the only way you will find a nicer copy and these did not come sealed.  You will not be disappointed.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE
VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
