PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE Haunted Town pressing from 2008 on oxblood(!) colored vinyl with the original hype sticker still affixed to the protective envelope-style outer sleeve, hand numbered 387 of 550 by label owner Matt (whose last name I can't recall for the life of me) with a glossy full color poster with complete lyrics!!! I knew Matt and was at his Wicker Park apartment often in the mid-late 2000s so he gifted me this LP as he knew I collected and loved Raygun. I took it home and filed it away in my personal collection (I already owned original copies of Raygun's entire discography) until today when I took these pics. A more perfect, pristine copy of this mega-rarity does not exist. You will not be disappointed. Raygun are FINALLY getting some LONG overdue recognition since they were named as THE band that changed the entire trajectory of then-teenaged Dave Gohl's life when he witnessed the power and fury of a Raygun show at the still-functioning Cubby Bear Lounge here in Chicago on vacation from Virginia. He described the ride home to Virgina as the dividing line in his life. Now it was BNR (Before Naked Raygun) and ANR (you get the picture). He returned the favor a few years ago by having them open for Foo Fighters at Wrigley Field (right across from the Cubby Bear, coincidentally). Legends within the city limits but a mostly undiscovered gem to the rest of the world, word is getting around quickly thanks to Dave's recent book so don't sleep. These are impossible to find now and Dave's book is selling well.
