AUCTION SPECIFICS AND CONDITION:  

 THE COVER: 

Truly Beautiful Los Angeles #6 Mono Butcher Cover

The colors on this butcher are vibrant, sweet, and bold.   As with virtually all of our butchers, the pictures below allow you to see the incredible fine dot matrix texture of the original butcher slick that has been exposed.   Often times, excessive glue residue from amatuer peels, or very difficult to peel butchers makes this detail hard to see.  Excessive glue residue also dulls the color of the butcher giving  a yellowish cast to the overall color.  That is not an issue here. The color on this butcher is vivid. Look at the finite detail of that dot matrix printing!  These dot matrix lithos have a unique hue to them that makes a butcher cover look even more magical in person.  AND -THERE ARE NO TOUCH UPS OR FLAWS ON THE BUTCHER COVER IMAGE!  The detail is stunning.  Even the classic LA glue circles are at a minimum on this cover!  

The edges on the border surrounding the butcher image are a nice clean white.  The seams are all in  solid condition.  There is also a one inch seam repair on the lower right corner at the mouth - that is it!  There is an extremely tiny spot of balding on the lower left tip of the corner, and that is about it.  All of the spine print is there with light rub wear on the graphics. The owner of this cover took very good care of it. 

The printing on the back is all there, bold and black, and contrasts very nicely with the white of the surrounding cover. The printing and graphics are all clean - above average clean and white all over.

This is one extremely nice butcher that is priced right to sell!      Just a gorgeous classic cover to show off in your office, den, or music gallery!

This offering also includes a peeled Yesterday and Today slick that can be framed with your butcher.  The slick has a very light discoloration in the mid center of the graphics from the removal process, but will frame nicely and look great with the butcher should you choose to put the two together in a display.  Would look fantastic framed with the autographs or any of the other posters! 

This is a beautiful collector's peice that will come with a unique-to-your-butcher coded Certificate of Authenticity that is signed by our good friend and butcher artist Jim Hansen of Blue Jay Way Galleries, and will include butcher specifics and date of peel.  This cannot be used for any other butcher cover but yours!

THE LP IS A FULL GLOSS VG+ ON ONE SIDE OF THE VINYL, AND A NICE VG++ ON THE OTHER.  THE RAINBOW LABELS ARE VG+ TO VG++.  LP IS NOT NM, BUT IS ABOVE AVERAGE FOR THIS TITLE. THESE ARE ABOUT AS DIFFICULT TO FIND NM AS THE BUTCHER COVER ITSELF.  THIS LP HAS BEEN CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANER .  ALSO INCLUDED IS AN ORIGINAL ORANGE CAPITOL 66 INNER SLEEVE MAKING THIS A COMPLETE 1966 CAPITOL RECORDS YESTERDAY AND TODAY BUTCHER PACKAGE.
