Mozart - Quintet KV 581

The STROSS Quartet, feat. Leopold WLACH, clarinet -

- great sound, beautiful performance -

ULTRA RARE German 10" MONO pressing (no stereo exists) -

1st ED, BERTELSMANN 8045, issued in the 50s,

in stitched neutral BERTELSMANN cover.

A mono-cartridge with  mono-needle is recommended -
played with the small needle of a Grado Reference Master stereo-cartridge / Linn LP 12 turntable :
Condition of the record altogether EX-

(ultra-light sleeve scuffs, NOT audible -
one light scratch mark on side two / 4th movement,
causing altogether about 25 very soft to soft roundwise ticks -
no other audible scratches - some minor surface noise here and there, as common with these pressings (no fault) - 
no  pressing bubbles - beautiful clear sound, no (!) distortion).

Maybe due to a pressing default the vinyl surface of side one is partly spotty,
mostly in the running-out-groove area (see pictures).
This seems to do not affect the sound - there is no noticeable background-noise difference between side one and two.

Condition of the cover EX.

Grading scheme :

Sealed - album is still sealed in original shrink wrap and has never been opened.

M = Mint - as new - album not still sealed but appears to be unplayed.

NM = Near Mint - very few, light signs of usage that don’t affect play - the cover has only minor signs of wear.

EX-NM - between Excellent and Near Mint.

EX = Excellent - some signs of usage, but very little lessening in sound quality - the cover might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good - no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch - normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.

All records have been visually graded very carefully. At least partially they have been audio graded (Linn LP 12 / Grado Master / stereo), especially for critical spots.

Audible defects are indicated.

Mailing details :

The records are taken out of the sleeve to avoid splitting - if not still sealed. They are sent in professional mailers with proper stiffeners for extra protection.

If the maximum weight for the concerning kind of shipping will not be exceeded :

A brand new innersleeve is included (not with box-sets !). A brand new outersleeve for the cover is included - for additional protection too. The original innersleeve is included if available and in a condition to be worthwhile.
