I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A LARGE AMOUNT OF AN OLD WAREHOUSE STOCK OF MANY DIY PUNK / MINIMAL SYNTH / INDUSTRIAL / POST PUNK / MESSTHETICS / H2D / HYPED TO DEATH / HOMEWORK / TEENLINE TYPE ITEMS, ALL ARE IN AN UNPLAYED CONDITION !!!! SO KEEP WATCHING MY AUCTIONS !
This is A RARE AND IN DEMAND UK NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / PUNK cross over single by the band STROBE from 1982, ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This single is VERY rare and appears on many NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL collectors wants list, WELL HERE IS ONE ORIGINAL COPY !!!
The single will also appeal to PUNK / POWER POP collectors as 2 of the tracks are great POWER POP / PUNK / NWOBHM crossover !!! there is some AMAZING FUZZ on a few of the songs, has to be heard to believe !!!
The single was pressed by the band themselves on their own STROBE ROCK RECORDS / SRR RECORDS, catalogue number SRR 1 .
The songs are: MANDARIN LADY / LOVE 'EM + LEAVE 'EM / SHATTERED GLASS / I AM THE LAW.
I believe that the single had a very limited p/s issued for the first 100 copies, but this copy comes without the rare sleeve, and the condition of the VINYL is in VG++ condition (Minor paper scuffs only !!!).
DON'T LET THIS RARE NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL / PUNK single get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
