Description
Very rare, original 1996 test pressing of Strictly Ballroom's second 7" release. It's on black vinyl and has white paper labels that are handwritten with the catalog numbers. Because black vinyl is often used in test pressings for color vinyl releases, it's probably impossible to know whether this disc was a test for the true first pressing (issued on black vinyl with no labels—that's right, just bare plastic), or the repress later that year on blue vinyl with black paper labels. The matrix etchings were the same for both pressings, so that doesn't clear things up either. No pic sleeve or insert. I've never seen another copy. The disc is in excellent condition with a few very light sleeve marks that do not affect play. See pics above.
