Description
This is the "STRANGE AFFAIR" early 1st Press UK 1972 LP by HELP YOURSELF
The is the 2nd LP released by HELP YOURSELF.
Musically is still sounds great today and is my favourite HELP YOURSELF album.
You can hear 1960s American West Coast influences in the music, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Stephen Stills etc.

The LP was bought on its release in 1972, and is a very early 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the UNITED ARTISTS label, number UAS 29287 and has the following early 1st press matrix numbers:
- Side 1: UAS 29287 A-1U "1" "C"
- Side 2: UAS 29287 B-1U "1" "C"

PLAYTEST
The LP plays superbly, like a new record, very quiet between tracks, no pops, bangs, jumping or sticking.
Playtest grade is NEAR MINT.
Visual
Visually the record is graded as EX, with no scratches and no label spindle marks.
There are some feint record sleeve surface scuffs that can be seen under a spotlamp.
None of these affect the audio.
COVER
The cover is graded EX- and was not laminated, but has no damage or writing or labels.
There is some ringwear on the front and back cover - please see photos.
The edges and corners have wear due to the non-laminated cover and its age.
The spine is better with all the lettering visible, apart from some wear spots on the record number text.
INNER SLEEVE
The original sleeve is included in the sale (see photo), and has a beige background, so any ageing marks are not noticeable.
The inner sleeve is intact and not damaged and is graded EX.

The record will be packed in a stiff package specifically designed for sending vinyl throught the post, with added protection on the corners
