Description
This auction is for a superb Art Print of the
Full original artwork for the IAN BROWN (ex-Stone Roses)
album "Golden Greats", in Mint (perfect) Condition.
Officially commissioned by Polydor (Ian's record label),
this superb item was used to promote Ian's second solo album
and was produced to a limited edition of 200.
These were only given out to members of the music industry and are as rare as hen's teeth!
This beautiful art print was hand printed by the original artist (Ian Wright) and the print is hand signed and individually numbered
by the artist "103/200 Ian Wright '99". No 104 sold for £120 only a month or so ago....
As well as being hand signed by the artist,
it is also hand signed by IAN BROWN himself.
Printed on THICK HEAVY card, the actual print measures 42cm/16.5 inches by 60cm/23.5cm and has been professionally framed behind glass in a beech-coloured wooden frame. The print hasn't been mounted (so not to damage the print - so the print itself is in PERFECT condition) and the white background gives a natural border to the print anyway.
I am not going to give out a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) with this item, as any monkey can print one out on their computer (and many COA's given out with items sold on eBay are usually accompanied by faked autographs). If you're a Roses/Brown fan I'm sure you can tell this is a genuine promotional item, which carries genuine hand written signatures from both Ian Wright and Ian Brown. This item is not to be confused with any unofficial prints that are being sold on eBay as it is an official item from Polydor Records and is highly collectable as there isn't another piece of Ian Brown / Stone Roses memorabilia identical to this in the world!
