Superb album on many levels, this RARE 1955 LP features four ANDY WARHOL ballet sketchs, a la Degas, with two of them SO LIGHT AS TO BE ALMOST SUBLIMINAL; five GREAT ballet photos (one of DANILOVA and two of MARGOT FONTEYN in one of their greatest roles; the NBC SYMPHONY conducted by LEOPOLD STOKOWSKY, and booklet notes by the premiere dance critic of the New York Times, JOHN MARTIN! Absolutely wonderful album is perfect-bound with two of the Warhols and four of the photos full-bleed 12" x 12". A TREASURE FOR WARHOLICS and BALLETOMANES! Album cover is New-minus with small piece of leather binding chipped (most likely in the original fabrication process)/Disc is in E+ condition with some light-ish pops. PLEASE NOTE: Accompanying photo of Warhol sketch DOES NOT DO JUSTICE TO THOSE ON THE ALBUM -- WHICH ACTUALLY ARE IN PINK, rather than our inept hue. Min. Bid: $24.75.
