Description
This is a Classic Records reissue of the much sought after 1961 LP of the same name. What makes the present LP SO DESIRABLE is the quality of the Classic Records vinyl, the limited edition run, and that THIS RECORDING IS SERIAL NUMBER 1-1220. The jacket includes a copy of Leopold Stokowski's signature from the original album.
Having played this recording only once* to check its quality, I can vouch for it being quite astounding...performed in the inimitable Stokowshi style. Performed by the RCA Victor Orchestra ( "members" of he New York Philharmonic by another name for licensing reasons) The sound quality is impressive, with a truly clean surface, and of course that special Stokowski sound in his signature repertoire.
Please be aware that this LP is "washed" and "vacuumed" on a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine. * Also the one time it was played was on high end equipment. As NEAR MINT an LP as possible with MINT sleeve and NM record jacket.
