After the Dead Boys had broke up Stiv Bators moved to Los Angels where he start to write new songs. After meeting Greg Shaw (boss of Bomb Records) Stiv started a solo-career and record bunch of singles and really fine Disconnected LP to Bomb. In Disconneted Bators recorded much melodic and psychedelic stuff than with the Dead Boys and there are two interesting covers in that LP: Too Much to Dream by Electric Prunes and It's Cold Outside by Choirin. At these times Stiv also made his film debyt in John Waters Polyester (1981). Although Disconneted was fine record it didn't sell well and nearly made Bomb go bankrupt. So when ex-Sham 69 guys asked Stiv to join Wanderers he did think twice. After Wanderers Stiv had some success with the Lords of the New Church.
After Lords Stiv moved to Paris, made one move solo-single (once again to Bomb), made re-union gigs with the Dead Boys and died in 4th June 1990 when a car run over him, he walked away from the accident, but died later in his home.
Best known line-up at 1980-81 was: Stiv Bators (vocals, guitar), Jeff Jones (guitar, vocals), Eddy Best (guitar), Rick Bremmer (drums).

Actual: We've canceled taking paypal fees from the buyers. This effects all payments from today on. I have hundreds of finest Garage / Fuzz-singles. They will be listed in the next weeks. Most Singles were bought new and played only once, gradings are made by the look of the vinyl. Due to poor production quality, some Garage singles may not sound very good.
General: During this year, more than 10.000 collector's items like Music-LPs, 12", 10", singles and CDs will be auctioned on Ebay. The special thing is: All items are from one collection, spanning 33 years. Rarities (no mainstream or chart garbage) that were purchased as new in record stores or ordered from catalogues make up most of the collection. Only a very few were bought second hand. Because the collector had'nt enough time to hear all this, most of the LPs are still in their original sleeves and have never been played, many were only played one time. A huge count of rare CDs have never left their storage places. The oldest items are Progressive Rock from the late 60s / early 70s (Czar, Second Hand, Arzachel...) and a lot of Krautrock. With the Birth of Punk, New Wave, Independent, Grunge, Neo 60th Fuzz/Garage (Cynics), Pebbles-Mindrocker-Samplers, New Prog (Spock's Beard, Arena, Musea Records), the highlights of these new musical directions were added to the collection. In the 90s, soul from the 70s and reggae was aquired. The quality and the condition of the collection is just unbelievable.

Aktuelles: Hunderte Garage / Fuzz-Singles aus der ganzen Welt kommen in den nächsten Wochen, getrennt nach Herkunftsländern der Bands. Die allermeisten Singles sind neu gekauft und nur einmal gespielt worden. Die Bewertung ist nach Aussehen, manche klingen trotzdem schlecht. Das kommt von mieser Pressqualität oder ist von den Künstlern so gewollt.
Allgemeines: Über 10000 Sammlerstücke (LPs, 12", 10", Singles, CDs und Musikbücher/ Zeitschriften in deutsch oder englisch) werden in diesem Jahr über ebay versteigert. Das Besondere: Es handelt sich um EINE in 33 Jahren angelegte Sammlung mit Raritäten (garantiert kein Pop, Disco, Hitparadenschrott, keine tausendfach durchwühlten Plattenladen/-börsen-Reste), die damals NEU in Plattenläden oder über Versandfirmen gekauft wurden. Nur wenige wurden später second hand zugekauft. Die meisten Schallplatten haben aus Zeitmangel die Hüllen nie verlassen und sind noch nie oder nur einmal abgespielt worden. Eine riesige Menge seltener CDs verschwanden nach dem Kauf in den Schränken und wurden nie oder selten eingelegt. Die Sammlung besteht ursprünglich aus Progressiv Rock LPs (später CD-Wiederveröffentlichungen) der späten 60er und frühen 70er (Czar, Second Hand, Arzachel...) und viel Krautrock. Jeweils mit dem Entstehen von Punk, New Wave, Independent, Grunge, Neo 60th Fuzz/Garage (Cynics), Pebbles-Mindrocker-Sampler, New Prog (Spock's Beard, Arena, Musea Records) kamen die Highlights dieser Musikrichtungen hinzu. In den 90ern kam an Musikrichtungen noch 70er Soul auf gut erhaltenen LPs und CD-WVs dazu, außerdem etwas Reggae. Die musikalische Qualität und der Zustand der Sammlung sind unglaublich.
