2011 US only original complete set of twelve 10" 45 rpm reissues of every 78 rpm

single released on Robert Johnson 1936-37, made to look like the original Vocalion,

Columbia and other label 78's. Set comes in a gorgeous 'book' replicating the style

of the 30's & 40's, expanded to accommodate all 12 records and the gorgeous

informative book that is included. Here is the factory description:

Numbered, limited edition vinyl box set. 1000 copies printed. Contains twelve 10" singles, 45 RPM.

Robert Johnson The Complete Original Masters: Centennial Edition is the ultimate collector’s vinyl piece. Recreated in the historic look and feel of the twelve 10?-78rpm discs that originally carried Johnson’s music into the world, these Limited Edition collector’s sets are individually numbered to 1000. Housed in a lavish 10? album book, each vinyl disc plays at 45rpm and is outfitted with reproductions of the original record labels. An additional sleeve will house a smaller book that includes a new 1,500-word essay written by Ted Gioia, Texas-based pianist and music historian, along with complete historic track annotation and discographic data.

The contents picture is a factory photograph of the complete contents of the folder, for reference

only. We are offering the sealed, mint set pictured from various angles. This set has never been

opened. The shrinkwrap has some separations at the various stress points in the package and

we have carefully reinforced those with easily removable clear tape to prevent any further

separation. It has been in a display case in the shop and only shown to a couple of customers

over the years. The separations happened in shipping from the distributor in 2011 and/or during

an occasional look in the shop. Never opened, never played, no creases, no bends, no tears or

any wear whatsoever to the actual folder within, and of course contents are factory mint.
