Description
STEVIE COCHRAN: No Need To Worry (no label 1-11762-21890/1983)
Local Long Island, New York blues guitarist/singer who has released a dozen recordings over a 30 year career during which he has played at the Montreuz Festival on a number of occasions.
This is a copy of his very first release, a promo only vinyl recording of which it is said only 100 copies were produced. It came in a plain black cover with a paste-on info sheet on the front cover.
The music (apart from the keyboard-driven dreamy intro & outro) is straight ahead no-nonsense uncompromising balls to the wall loud and hard bluesy rock with Concran's gruff vocals and shredding guitar leads, featuring the psychy Got To Get a Woman (the only psych reference you'll ever see for this album) and culminating with the 8 minute instro blaster Cops and Robbers, that shows he's as good as anyone out there.
This copy is still in the shrink wrap. The cover is in Ex condition (slight bend in lower right corner). The record looks VG+ (minor amount of blemish marks on both sides; a couple of long scuff lines on the second side); it plays Mint minus.

GENERAL INFO
SHIPPING: Shipping costs will be quoted based on cost for estimated weight plus $1.00 to cover most of the cost of packing materials.
All records are packed in in between two cardboard filler pads and shipped in professional cardboard mailing boxes. All unsealed 12" records are taken out of their covers to prevent seam splitting. If there is a custom inner sleeve, the record will be put in a separate white inner. If a 7" record comes in a picture sleeve, the same procedure is followed.
GRADING: I grade records both visually and audibly. As grading is so imprecise and subjective, I don't have a set grading description like you see listed in many auction and collector magazines. My grades for records and covers are based on the overall conditions I describe in each auction; I will note any visual defects and (for the vinyl) any non-musical sounds (pops, clicks, skips, etc.).
