Description

(1961) Clean LP, appears very lightly played with no spindle marks that I can spot, on Capitol High Fidelity Records SP 8518 CAPITOL FULL DIMENSIONAL STEREO, original Capital FDS paper liner. Extensive notes on the back of the jacket. Also on the back of the jacket in the top right corner is a stamped "A" with a circle around it. Former owner made a couple of small pen notations on the back of the jacket.

Includes sticker affixed to the front of the jacket in the top right corner that reads as follows;

A FAMOUS CONCERTO COUPLING by "the master violinist" in a brand-new recording! Milstein's first recording of these two works has been a best seller ever since its release in 1954. Now, in the greater brilliance of Stereo and higher fidelity, the fabulous artistry of Nathan Milstein pulses as never before. Hear, for yourself, the newest recorded evidence for the New York Times' statement that "his (Milstein's) career is an honor to music and to the king of instruments, the violin."

Nathan Milstein, Violin
The Philharmonia Orchestra

Condition:  Record is clean and appears very lightly played, a couple of tiny knicks and a couple of very light scratches that are barely visible, great used condition, on a 1-10 scale I would rate the record an 8.5/9. Jacket has light edge and corner wear, good color and binding, some shelf wear and beginnings of separation, original sticker about Milstein on the front that is rarely found still affixed to this release, decent used condition.
