RARE CORRECTED MATRIX

A bit of history.....This album was first released on the 4th Dec 1964. Prior to its release there was a huge order of 750,000...which went on to break all records for advance orders of ANY album!!! Of course this meant the album went straight into the number 1 position in the U.K. charts, staying in the charts for 46 weeks!! POPULAR is too small a word for it!

Catalogue number: PCS 3062

(As a note, here are a couple of the differences to the usual MONO mix:
1. No Reply has a different mix.
2. Words Of Love is 9 seconds shorter than the Mono version.)
------------------------------------------------
This is the really rather rare part as not many of these corrected matricies made it into the hands of the general public...
Matrix Number Side 1: YEX 142-1
(THIS ONE LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN CORRECTED TWICE..?)

Matrix Number Side 2: YEX 143-1

Side 1: OD @ 3 O'clock   17 @ 9 O'clock
Side 2: OA @ 3 O'clock   1 @ 9 O'clock
LOVELY EARLY PRESSING HERE

Vinyl:
QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT 152g
EX-. Lovely heavy vinyl. Only carries a few VERY light marks retaining all her glory!
Played loud, you can hear just a gentle amount of background noise-I think this adds to it's appeal, but also think it would be reduced, if not negated, with a gentle professional clean as it is just dust or dirt in the grooves, not due to marks on the record...Even static!
IT REALLY DOES PROVIDE SUPERB STEREO QUALITY SOUND REPRODUCTION.
FLAT as the day she was born and SHINY too.
GLORIOUS STEREO

Labels: EX. Lovely and clear.
There are only a handful of very light spindle marks...visible when angled towards bright light.
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." (ONLY 1st Press have this) it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text.
Minimal hole wear.
 Lovely, clear silver text.
CLASSIC AND INCREASINGLY RARE VERY 1ST PRINTING

Proud and raised "KT" tax code to side 1.

Cover: VG. STEREO outline in top right corner. Shiny front and back cover...There are quite a few spidering areas to the two sided laminate.
The spine remains strong with the title legible.
Some knocks to the corners. There also appears to have a little patch of lifting to the inside card
 Far from trashed.
Wonderful strong flipbacks.
But, come on-we all know how delicate this gatefold cover is....I am being very critical and honest for you-you get what is described.
Please see the detailed photo's.
NO WRITING.

Inner: EX-. Original white die-cut inner with "Made In England" printed text. NO splits or tears, just light feathering near the opening.

GRAB THIS LITTLE BEAUTY AS THERE WEREN'T AS MANY OF THESE PRODUCED BACK IN THE DAY-WHAT WITH STEREO BEING A LUXURY!
AND DON'T FORGET THE VERY EARLY MOTHERS/STAMPERS AND MATRIX ENDINGS!
