An early copy circa 1963. This is the 3rd (second state) pressing without ''Recording First Published'', and without the small ''33 1/3'' after yex 94 and yex 95, ''Parlophone Co Ltd'' rim text. MT tax code.
MATRIX YEX 94-1 YEX 95-1. Large Stereo sleeve, made by Ernest J Day, wiuth Emitex inner sleeve.

Record Grade
?Visually the record has been preserved quite well, there are some light hairlines and mild marks in places, more so side 2, but generally very good on the whole. There is one small mark that is just about feelable localised around track 5 side 2 'A Taste of Honey' (see audio grading below), other than this it presents very well with a couple larger hairlines that are not feelable presenting on side two, some light marks and spindle wear showing. Side One grades at EX side 2 around VG. Overall grading VG+
I have listened to this record thoughout and I was extremly pleased at how well it played through. There is a small feelable mark that presents are the very end of 'Do you want to know a secret' and throughout A Taste of Honey, it initially presents at the end of track 4 and the run in to track 5, and can be heard on play back throughout the song, however there is no skipping or jumps and it presents as a series of soft to moderate ticks, occasionally its not immediately noticed at all. This is the only area of audible issue. Other than this there were no noticeable skips or jumps, with some occasional surface noise just noticed. When the tracks are playing there was very little audible issue noticed, it was very clear, bright with no major distractions and I would grade a high EXCELLENT for the audio on the whole. I suspect a professional clean would certainly help enhance the audio further.

Sleeve Grade
?A VG+ example of this sleeve, the front is nice and clean some minor handling wear and light marks just noticed, some light edge creases, storage wear, minor laminate wrinkles, light rubbing noticed but very solid and well presented. The edges have some light wear, some minor rubbing and corner rounding, minor bumps to the corners, nice sharp opening edge. The spine text is well presented full legible and well presented. The back cover again VG+? the flipbacks are very good with some light areas of wear and marks, some light corner wear and minor edge issues around the flip backs, small pen price written in the top left corner. The central white panel is quite clean with some toning and minimal slight stains, very light ring wear just showing, but on the whole a very nice example of a sleeve that very rare survives well.
