1968/USA/Dunhill Records DS-50037……  ORIGINAL FACTORY SEALED ORIGINAL PRESSING! TINY DELETE HOLE LOWER LEFT CORNER. THE OPENING IS SPLIT OPEN 3.5 INCHES AT THE TOP AND 1" AT THE BOTTOM, THERE ARE REMNANTS OF WHITE STCKER LEFT ON THE SHRINK ONLY, STILL REMAINS PERFECTLY FLAT AND SEALED. The Second had an anthem of its own, in the form of John Kay’s ‘Magic Carpet Ride,’ which after ‘Born To Be Wild’ had hit No. 2 in America, followed it to No. 3. The sophomore album also included such titles of their time as ‘Faster Than The Speed Of Life,’ ‘Don’t Step On The Grass, Sam’ and ‘Hodge, Podge, Strained Through A Leslie.’

The album opened on the Billboard chart in October 1968 and, where their eponymous release had peaked at No. 6, the new one went as high as No. 3 in the first week of the new year. The Beatles continued to top the listing at the time with The Beatles, aka The White Album. In the incredibly fast-moving album scene of the day, when bands were expected to release two LPs a year, The Second was soon succeeded by At Your Birthday Party.

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition.
