Description

This sale is for a copy of "Steppenwolf" the self-titled LP by Steppenwolf. This is from 1968 (2nd pressing) on ABC Dunhill DS-50029. This features the rare foil cover still in the factory shrinkwrap & comes with the original Dunhill inner sleeve. I have taken 2 photos of the cover, 1 with the flash & 1 without flash....it is very hard to get a good picture because of the foil. The songs are "Sookie Sookie", "Everybody's Next One", "Berry Rides Again", "Hootchie Kootchie Man", "Born To Be Wild", "Your Wall's Too High", "Desperation", "The Pusher", "A Girl I Knew", "Take What You Need" & "The Ostrich".

Condition

  • Cover : The cover is in VG++ condition with a tiny light rub on the lower corner tips, a tiny nick on the bottom seam but otherwise this looks very nice. The shrinkwrap is clean & tight with a piece missing on the front right, a tear on the left & pulled back a little on the back.*****PLEASE NOTE***** In the photo below, the spot at the bottom of the cover is from the flash of my camera. This is NOT on the cover. Flash only.


  • Vinyl : The vinyl shines like new with all of its original gloss & is in VG++ condition with a few very light surface scuffs.

    • Labels : The labels are in NM condition.
