            Side 1:  one nearly invisible spindle mark, very hard to see

COVER

            Front:  high gloss laminated G&L cover with barely a trace of ring wear, solid seams and spine, crisp unfeathered opening, a few typical tiny crimps along the spine often found on G&L covers. A few indentations on the word “The”.  Great color, overall grades as a strong EX+

            Back:  clean and white with solid flipbacks, no “Gramophone Co. Ltd.” under EMI which verifies this as the first edition along with “patent pending”

INNER:  original inner with no splits, will ship with an archival inner as well

DESCRIPTION:  The vinyl is very glossy and plays perfectly, strong mono sound with a quiet surface devoid of surface static. Pre KT labels. The first edition cover is clean and solid. It would be hard to find a better copy.

$24 for LP selling for $19 or less

$32 by Registered Mail for an LP selling between $20 and $74

$39 by Priority with for an LP selling for $75 or over

Fee will be adjusted after close of auction if incorrect. Any excess shipping charge will be refunded after accounting for box and postage.

   I began buying records in the mid 60’s and I've always been fanatical about record care and storage.

   The records I sell are from my personal collection, including backup copies. I've never been one to buy VG records or anything with an audible scratch, which eliminates the vast majority. If I do miss an audible flaw, then kindly contact me and it will be rectified.

   I use standard US grading plus the UK grade of EX in order to eliminate the dreaded VG+++

   Records are first inspected under a halogen light (the only light that shows every flaw) and any blemishes are examined with a 10x power magnifier which allows the grooves to be fully inspected. Then they’re play graded on a Linn Sondek LP12.

   Over the decades, I've seen grading fads come and go, such as: “visual” grading by people who don't own a turntable; the current use of nonsense grades like NM+ and NM- as well as the dubious belief that there’s no such thing as a mint record.

   As a record buyer, I've had a lot of over graded “garage sale” LPs arrive covered with gritty dust and greasy fingerprints while the seller claims a “visual” grade based on fantasy. Be assured that my records will arrive clean and fingerprint free.
