Description
This is a very very rare STOCK copy of the STATUS QUO WITHDRAWN before release single TECHNICOLOR DREAMS UK release PYE 7N 17650.
As collectors know this single was withdrawn prior to release after a very small initial pressing of about 30 items. There is a PROMO copy which is much more common. The reason for the withdraw was ROSSI penned a song 'MAKE ME STAY A BIT LONGER' which was preferred and released 3 weeks after this single was withdrawn. A self penned song was preffered over the arranged writers A King song !!
I have been a QUO collector and fan for 30 odd years so no need to worry about the authenticity of this item. Especially rare pressed with a centre piece !! The condition of the label on both sides is not good as can be seen but i have also photo'd the release stamp which you can see. This is because someone has tried to scratch off pen autograph marks which was crazy !! The record i would actually grade as good + as it plays on both sides without any skips or jumps or pops. Just background crackle which dissapears when the record starts as this is a LOUD release !!
This is a chance to grab this at a realistic price as a mint copy will set you back 4 figures among serious collectors and you may have to wait a long time before you see another one for sale !
