Description

On offer here is a very rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by Status Quo called "Jealously" with the B Side called 'Calling The Shots'.  THIS IS A SUPREMELY RARE IRISH SINGLE!!!!  APPARENTLY THE UK RELEASE OF THIS SINGLE WAS CANCELLED - AND THE ONLY SINGLES OF THIS EXIST AS - 'IRISH PROMOS ONLY'.  HOWEVER THIS SINGLE COULD BE EVEN RARER!!!!  LOOKING AT THE LABELS - I CAN FIND NO EVIDENCE THAT THIS SINGLE WAS A PROMO!!!!  SO IS THIS A MEGA RARE STOCK COPY????  OR DID IRISH PROMOS ALL LOOK LIKE THIS????  EITHER WAY THIS IS A HUGE RARITY AND BOOKS HUGE IN ANY BOOK!!!!  THIS IS A GENIUNE IRISH PRESSING WITH MACHINE STAMPED MATRIX NUMBERS (QUO9A//1420W & QUO9B//1420W)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS SINGLE IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREME QUO RARITY!!!! The Cat. No is QUO 9 on the Grey Vertigo label (see picture) and is an Irish 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Status Quo at their best!!!! Any fan of Status Quo, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE CENTRE HOLE!!!!  THIS SINGLE CAME FROM A LONG TERM QUO COLLECTION AND I DOUBT IF IT HAS BEEN PLAYED MORE THAN 2 OR 3 TIMES!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! WHAT A SUPERB AND EXTREMELY RARE RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in a Black sleeve.  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE SINGLE IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking single and it is truly rare to find any copies of this RARE single in this sort of condition!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL 1982 IRISH 1ST PRESSING OF "JEALOUSY" BY STATUS QUO IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!
