Description

I AM BACK TO LISTING LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1965 U.S. BLUE NOTE DEEP GROOVE MONO JAZZ LP titled 'Joyride' from jazz tenor sax man Stanley Turrentine with a number of noted sidemen.  It is Blue Note Records catalog number 4201, rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, New York USA address on the labels, 43 West 61st St., New York 23 address on the bottom of the back cover.  The original '20 Years Blue Note' inner sleeve is still included.  Personnel: Stanley Turrentine-tenor sax / Ernie Royal, Clark Terry, Snooky Young-trumpets / Jay Jay Johnson, Jimmy Cleveland, Henry Coker-trumpets / Phil Woods-alto sax, clarinet / Jerry Dodgion-alto sax, flute, alto flute, clarinet, piccolo / Albert J. Johnson-tenor sax, soprano sax, clarinet, bass clarinet / Robert Ashton-tenor sax, clarinet / Danny Bank-baritone sax, clarinet, bass clarinet, flute, alto flute / Kenny Burrell-guitar / Herbie Hancock-piano / Bob Cranshaw-bass / Grady Tate-drums.  Tracks: River's Invitation, I Wonder Where Our Love Has Gone, Little Sheri, Mattie T., Bayou, A Taste Of Honey.   Visual condition of record is conservatively a nice high VG++ with just a very few very light and small sleeve marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play.  Condition of cover is VG with the name of a previous owner written at the top of the back cover in black marker, some small brown spots of mildew discoloration as can be seen in the accompanying image, a few small wrinkles, some contact and ring wear, and a fair amount of wear along the edges and on the corners.   Cover has no splits, tears, or stickers.  This mono deep groove LP would be a nice addition to any Blue Note or modern jazz record collection! Winning bidder pays $3.00 media mail postage or actual priority mail postage within the U.S. I WILL SHIP WORLDWIDE - Uninsured first class international airmail postage to the UK or anyplace in Europe is $13.50 - Please e-mail me for postage rates to other areas outside the U.S. WINNING BIDDER PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH - IT PROBABLY WILL NOT GET HERE! I will give an immediate refund (less shipping) upon return of the LP if winning bidder is dissatisfied for any reason. Good luck!
