Description
STANLEY CLARKE LPs
Click Image to EnlargeI'm offering the Stanley Clarke test pressing double album titled "I Wanna Play For You." Two records, 15 songs. Pressed at Columbia Record Productions, Santa Maria, CA. Released by CBS's Nemperor Records in 1979. In stereo. In it's original all white gatefold jacket. #Z-35681. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. In new condition. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Often times duplicates. The two all white jackets are in good condition and so are the 2 sleeves inside. Combine record auctions and save on shipping.

From Wikipedia: Stanley Clarke (born June 30, 1951) is an American bassist and founding member of Return to Forever, one of the first jazz fusion bands. He has composed music for films and television and has worked with musicians in many genres. Like Jaco Pastorius, Clarke gave the bass guitar a prominence it lacked. Clark has spent much of his career outside jazz. In 1979, Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones formed the New Barbarians with Clarke and Keith Richards. Two years later, Clarke and keyboardist George Duke formed the Clarke/Duke Project, which combined pop, jazz, funk, and R&B. In 1988, Clarke and drummer Stewart Copeland of the rock band the Police formed Animal Logic with singer-songwriter Deborah Holland. In 2005 Clarke toured as Trio! with Béla Fleck and Jean-Luc Ponty.
