VLP 9069 original UK 1964 black and silver Verve record labels.

A UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. side one of the record label features an original period, ‘factory sample, Not for Sale’ sticker,

2. the record is one of the very first to be manufactured as each side of the record features the earliest mother / stampers of, ‘1G / 1G’,

3. original UK record matrix of, ‘1N/1N’,

4. original UK record labels featuring the text, ‘Sold in UK’, etc,

5. an original UK 1964 ‘flipback’ sleeve made by the company, ‘E J Day’,

6. comes with its original period, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent condition and it has remained clean, white and straight and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original tri ‘flip backs’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a name written in black ink on the rear, top left and some age related marks here and there. There are some ‘scuff’ marks to the front laminate.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original, ‘Use Emitex’ inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent condition and side two is in near excellent condition. The record is made from the period 1960s, thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The matrix are: V8554 A 1N and V8554 B 1N,

The mother / stampers are: ‘1G’ and ‘1G’, the earliest mother / stampers that you can get.

THE AUDIO: each side plays excellent. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, loud period mono sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each record label is in excellent condition. Side one feature the letters ‘KT’ embossed around the spindle hole. Side two features an original ‘ Factory Sample, Not for Sale’ sticker. The labels are free from any pen writing and from any ‘other’ stickers. Each label is free from any sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
