Description
This is a promo LP by Stairsteps called 2nd Resurrection on Dark Horse Records Records SP-22004 from 1976. This is a very nice sounding record. It plays VG+ to VG++ with noise in the background at times. Most of the time it plays VG++ or better. At times the noise gets a little louder. It is never bad or overpowering but there were several clicks after the second song on Side 2 and into the third song. That's the only time there were clicks. At times there is no noise at all. This is a very enjoyable album. The cover is VG+. It has a hype sticker, promo sticker and promo punch. The radio station's call letters are written on the two guys dressed in white on the front. The cover has wear on the front, mainly at the top and bottom. It also has wear on the bottom spine but it isn't close to starting to split. The back cover shows light wear also. There is some bending at the bottom corners of the cover. It probably had water damage at one time. There isn't a stain. Also the inner sleeve is wavy, which is probably from having been wet at one time, but it shows no staining either. Billy Preston co-produces this album and plays keyboards on all tracks including TONTO, which stands for The Original New Timbral Orchestra and consists of 12 synthesizers linked together and played simultaneously. George Harrison is credited with special thanks and it is on his Dark Horse Records label.
