Sankte Mikael: super RaRe version of Visions of a Trespasser (Sweden/Home Made Records/1989)
You've seen the Xotic Mind "original press" of 150 copies of this Swedish psych monster's debut LP with the handmade paste-on covers. What I am offering here is the true 1st version of this modern Swedish psychedelic masterpiece that was produced a year before the Xotic Mind version in a limited pressing of 15 copies. Each copy comes with a set of green xeroxed slicks that are totally unique to this original issue. These originals came in a plain white cover with the 2 slicks loose in a plastic outer bag with the ST Mikael Visions Of A Trespasser sticker (same one used for the 150 press) adhered to the bag. The labels are plain white, except that Mikael's name and "label" have been hand-written on one side in purple marker (see scan).
The cover of this copy was customized for this release. The slicks have been pasted onto a plain white gatefold cover. The inside of the gatefold has color xeroxes of the cover art used for the later Xotic Mind front & back covers glued into it. There is also a xerox of the lyric sheet that was included in the Xotic Mind press.
The cover is in EX condition, bordering on near mint - very nice overall. There are some glue stains inside and outside, but they don't detract from the overall look (if anything they add to the DIY ambience of the cover - maybe done by Mikael himself?). The corners of the gatefold cover are slightly banged up, but this in no way effects the art work, so these dings are pretty unobtrusive. The original green slicks are in EX condition - very clean. The record looks and plays NEAR MINT - a cleaner copy CANNOT be found!!!!! Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime oppotunity!!
