Up for auction is a vinyl lp from ST. JOHN GREEN for their self-titled debut album 'St. John Green'
This album was released in 1968 on Flick Disc / MGM Records in the US (Stereo FLS 45,001)
This is an Original US pressing from '68 and is not a later reissue of any kind!!!

Condition:
Vinyl is in visual NM/NM- (Near Mint/Near Mint-) grade condition!
Album Cover is clean with light shelf/ring wear.
There is a hole-punch/cut-out indicator towards the lower left hand corner of cover.
Nice and Tight Binding!
Includes Original MGM Factory Inner Sleeve

ST. JOHN GREEN - SELF-TITLED - FLICK/MGM 1968 - Awesome album from this garage-y psych band from the 'Canyon' scene in Southern California. At times the group doesn't sound too different from a poppy, melodic r&b influenced garage band of the 60s, at other times the music they made sounded like a bizarre, hard psychedelic journey through hell with an unsettled sound that still manages to be enjoyable for those of us who like the harder deep psych sounds.
It's a pretty adventurous listen--and of course this is thanks in part to Producer KIM FOWLEY, who also arranged/wrote a handful of the tracks included.
Definitely an overlooked nugget from the late '60s!!! Hard to find in such nice condition!!! Don't Miss Out!
