Description

SR 90246, Aaron Copland – Appalachian Spring, Billy the Kid, Antal Dorati, London Symphony Orchestra, RFR2/1, WHITE PROMO label. This is NOT a reissue – it is the original 50+ year old, RFR 2/1 promo pressing. This is my own personal copy, and the vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy and exceptionally quiet. There is a single light tic near the start of side 1.  Otherwise it is perfectly quiet.  There are some barely visible paper scuffs on side 2 that make no sound.  The labels are clean with no wear (see photos). They are the WHITE PROMO version with “FOR BROADCAST ONLY, NOT FOR SALE” printed near the bottom.  The jacket is EX with no marks but very slight wear on the back (see photos).  The inner sleeve is the original and NM.  Overall, this is a beautiful promo copy of this wonderful golden age recording that plays virtually perfectly. Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied.
