Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my psychedelic and progressive music records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first U.K. pressing of Spooky Tooth – Spooky Two on the PINK ISLAND label with the with the black, white and orange eye label, cat. no. ILPS 9098.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and there is a small visible, but non-sounding mark at the end of side 1. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks and there is some slight wear around the spindle hole on both sides.
The cover is in VG condition, there are a couple small brown water stains and two small tear marks in the top section on the front, the outer seams and spine are bald and the opening edge on the back has some wear (feathering). Besides these mentioned defects, the cover looks very presentable to me.
Although this copy of the second Spooky Tooth album, Spooky Two, is not in a dream mint condition it’s still is a very rare original 1st U.K. pressing and very enjoyable indeed. These PINK ISLAND records are becoming very scarce nowadays (later pink rim labels are quite easy to find), so this is your chance to complete your Spooky Tooth or PINK ISLAND label collection. Within the European Union, the postage costs are £ 8.75, outside the E.U. £ 16.00 (sorry, but postage rates in the Netherlands are very high). Payment within 7 days after the auction has ended.
