Mekano Contakt Slogun
Super Rare OZ EP released in 1979 on EMI Custom Pressing. Cat.PRS-2655. Tracks are 'Mekano', 'Contakt' & 'Slogun'. The rarest and last of SPK's early releases. Possibly as little as 60 copies of this EP where released. SPK where one of Australia's first Industrial/Noise/Punk bands with their first release ahead of Einsturznde Neubauten. Noisy Avante guarde with thumping rhythms, distorted vocals. Sleeve: the sleeve consists of a photocopy pasted onto a generic paper inner sleeve. The opening edge of the inner sleeve extends slightly beyond the paste-on part and has a few tiny tears. Cover is in Excellent condition. The record has some light scuff marks and very light scratches. There are a few crackles throughout, Record plays in VG++ condition. Please note there is a small chip on the run-in groove on side 1. This chip runs close to the start of track. By moving the stylus close to the start of track 1 you get a small pop just prior to the start of the track (because of the chip). This is a small inconvenience considering how rare this item is and the actual playing surface is not damaged at all.
