Description
Spirogyra's third album from 1973 called "Bells,boots & shambles" on UK Polydor label catalogue number 2310 246. This LP has been in storage (in a protective vinyl sleeve) since it was released nearly 40 years ago. The sleeve looks fantastic with only a very faint presence of ringwear on the front cover ,at the bottom (see photos). The spine is still beautifully intact, as are all 4 corners. There's some very mild shelfwear (very mild!!),but absolutely no rips,tears or scrapes. The vinyl is in a wonderfull condition. Plays all the way through with NO pops,skips or scratches. Super warm sound. I can see some marks on the vinyl that look like VERY light surface marks,but it looks more like the way the LP was pressed (wavey marks,instead of straight on marks from putting into the sleeve),but like i said, there's absolutely NO sound defects or noises ( & this is a very quiet fragile recording). All in all, i would call this whole record NEAR MINT- considering its age. This version is MUCH rarer than the often seen Brain (Germany) pressing.
I doubt you'll come across another copy like this EVER. These were very scarce to start with in 1973 & their legend has just increased over the decades. NO RESERVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
