Big old fashioned scuzzy heavy hairy Dutch rock on the B-side of this 1970 single, probably because the squeaky clean Dutch teens would never go for such a thing. Especially those proto-Hendrix licks recorded with microphones wrapped in pillow cases. “See Me Go” is a monster, though, like 70’s Group 1850 or when the Pretty Things got heavier after the Sixties morphed clumsily into the Seventies. “Something Lazy,” the original plug side, is also pretty good – a pounding proto-glam stomper with raw guitar and a bit of a bouncy Beatlish bassline too, like Paul McCartney filtered through T. Rex. Hear ‘em both below.
