     "  SPIRIT   OF  JOHN  MORGAN " 1st PRESS  ALBUM,  VERY RARE.

              Released in 1969  on  the  " CARNABY "  Label  CNLS 6002

                             Condition :   EXCELLENT   /   NEAR  MINT

                I bought this Album the week it was released from my local
                record shop.  It was always played on a high quality record
                deck (Thorens 125 turntable SME arm with Shure V15
                cartridge).  The Album was always cleaned with a high quality
                record cleaner and always stored in an anti-static inner sleeve.
                The  cover has always had a plastic outer sleeve for
                protection.

                                                 THE  COVER

                The COVER is in an  EXCELLENT / NEAR  MINT  condition.
                The FRONT COVER is in a HIGH GLOSS LAMINATE finish.
                It is VERY CLEAN and only has a few very light creases
                which are hardly noticeable.  It is in a most BEAUTIFUL
                condition.  The BACK COVER is in a MATT finish, it is VERY
                CLEAN and almost looks like NEW.  The SPINE is SUPERB,
                it is STRAIGHT with CRISP PINCHED ends and the writing is
                so clear.  The FOUR CORNERS are FIRM and TRUE and
                free from any scuff marks, except one extremely light scuff
                on the front bottom right hand corner.  The SLEEVE OPENING
                is STRAIGHT and completely free from any fraying.  For an
                Album cover of 46 years old, it is in a STUNNING condition
                and very collectable on this rare "CARNABY" label.

                                                  THE  VINYL

                The VINYL is in an EXCELLENT /  NR MINT condition.  It
                is VERY CLEAN in a MIRROR finish and free from any hair-
                lines.  The LABELS are VERY CLEAN and CLEAR and there
                is only one extremely light spindle mark on each side, barely
                noticeable.  The TEST PLAY on my REGA PLANAR 3 record
                deck was the first time this Album had been played for 38 years!
                Before this the LP had not been played more than 4 or 5 times.
                The Album plays beautifully throughout.  The audio was CLEAN
                and DETAILED.  There are some light static pops and crackles
                here and there, but this does not effect the quality of sound in
                the least.  On side 2. track 4. there is only one light click.  This
                is a great Album and very collectable now.
