On offer here is a MASSIVELY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Spinners called "Thats What Little Girls Are Made For" and is a UK 1961 1st Columbia Pressing. THIS IS SIMPLY A MASSIVELY RARE SINGLE!!!! THE SPINNERS OF COURSE LATER BECAME THE 'DETROIT SPINNERS' AND WENT ON TO RECORD FOR THE FAMOUS 'TAMLA MOTOWN' LABEL!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE MOTOWN RELATED SINGLE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!! IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THAT THIS SINGLE WILL TURN UP AGAIN FOR A VERY VERY LONG TIME (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is 45-DB 4693 on the Green 1st Press Columbia label (see picture) and is a UK 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Spinners at their best!!!! Any fan of The Spinners, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! There is however a small name to both sides (see pictures) - though this is the only defect on this single which is in SUPERB condition!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest surface marks (MEGA LIGHT) only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! WHAT A SUPERB AND EXTREMELY RARE RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL Company sleeve - which is in GREAT condition!!!! This company sleeve interestingly has the date of purchase (2/09/1961) on it, the title of the song, and the owners name written in the top right hand corner. Personally I think it is an interesting part of the history of this single (especially the purchase date) - though I can always also supply a similar GREAT conditioned unwritten Columbia Sleeve - if the winning bidder so wishes. DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE SINGLE!!!! WHEN WILL YOU EVER FIND ANOTHER 1961 1ST PRESSING OF THIS MEGA RARE SINGLE LIKE THIS AGAIN!!!!
