On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Spencer Davis Group called 'Their 1st LP' and is a MONO ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A STUNNING COPY OF THIS RARE 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT IS SO HARD TO FIND THIS LP IN THIS SORT OF CONDITION - AND THIS LP HAS ONLY BEEN PLAYED ONCE!!!! SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Fontana UK 'textured' 1st pressing from 1965 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TL 5242 on the ORIGINAL 'textured' Fontana Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Spencer Davis Group at their best!!!! Any fan of The Spencer Davis Group, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only 1 mega light spindle mark to one side!!!! AWESOME!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, only a VERY few light edge creases, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The only MEGA minor faults to the front of the cover is a small laminate lift near the lower left spinal edge, and a laminate crinkle on the front right!!!! The unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO wear and NO yellowing!!!! The only other thing to mention is that the cover is slightly uneven - possibly from storage. Even so - the pictures dont lie and this is an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Cover that rarely EVER turns up in this sort of condition!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!
