THE SPECKTRUM-45-“Confetti” b/w “I Was A Fool”-Somethin’ Groovy Records #SG-500-Killerkool, crude & Moody Rhode Island Garage-punk. Typifies the ‘New England Sound’-Moody and cryptic overall with somewhat off-key and aloof lead vocal, two guitars, one a 12-string which is prominent in the mix; also a Farfisa organ which comes out of nowhere for a lead break. Great track. B side is sort of a cryptic Zombies-influenced ballad with parallels to the A side.
