This particular track was recorded in Los Angeles circa 1987 but never got an official release due to the label break-up that same year. This mysterious 12" somehow slipped through the cracks of 1987 and managed to stay under the radar since. The feature cut "So Special" is an absolute monster dance floor burner driven by anthem-like vocals and hooks. The production and clarity on this record is top-shelf and soaked with FAT synths and driving DMX drum programing- the formula for the HUGE sound on this unknown 12" PRIVATE PRESS gem. Unlisted, completely unknown and has NEVER been up for auction. Truly a missing link in the history of 80's Los Angeles Funk, Boogie and Soul music. Rare as a golden goose egg.
