Artist: the Spades

 

Tracks: Do You Wanna Dance // I Need a Girl

 

Condition: VG+ with just a few marks from storage. No marks can be felt and the 45 still has it’s shine, there's a stamp on the b-side label too.


Additional Notes: Rare and good condition 2-sider from Texas by the Spades, famous in the underground for their holy-grail 45 featuring Roky Erickson of the 13th Floor Elevators. Erickson isn’t on this record but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s a great 45 given the quality garage-tinged rocker and the great "I Need a Girl" oldie on the b-side. Extremely tough to find, tougher to find in good shape.  


 

We use a NM/VG++/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G grade scale:

NM= perfect like new record. VG++= Very nice record with minimal wear. Maybe a couple of very small scuffs or marks that do not affect play.
VG+=Nicely cared for record but will show some light scratches and some play use. Will not have any significant surface noise, but will have some occasional noise here and there.
VG=A well played record but will still be enjoyable as a "player" copy. Light scratches only NO DEEP GOUGES. Will play with surface noise but nothing that will hinder the music and will mostly be noticed in between tracks.  VG-=Will have surface noise, clicks, pops and generally be noisy. Should still be enjoyable. WILL NOT SKIP.
Anything below VG- is pretty rough. We rarely sell items below VG-.
