Description
This is an original picture sleeve/cover and 45 of The Beatles Souvenir of Their Visit to America EP on VJ (VEE-JAY) Records VJEP 1-903 from 1964. The songs are "Misery," "A Taste of Honey," "Ask Me Why" and "Anna." The labels on the record are very nice (see scan). It is the black, rainbow label with the VJ brackets logo. All of the titles on the label are the same size. The vinyl has a nice shine and has a couple of light scratches that don't have any affect on the sound. There is one deeper scratch that I will explain in the song description. "Misery" and "A Taste of Honey" play VG with light noise in background and nice tone and sound. "A Taste of Honey has a scratch that causes about 5 clicks in the song. "Ask Me Why" played VG+ with very nice sound and tone but it did have about 5 clicks near the beginning, and one later on in the song. "Anna" played VG with light noise in the background and one pop. The sleeve is nice also. There is very light wear on each side. It has a bend in the cover in the upper right corner. There is also about a half inch of seam split at the top opening. There is some wear on the top and bottom spines but no other seam split than what I mentioned. Very light wear on the left upper spine for about an inch and a half. The record has not been stored in this sleeve for at least as long as I have owned it, which is close to 18 years.
