Description

For your consideration is an original 1968 mega-rare, stereo 45 rpm single "Mister Sun" b/w "In Paradise" by the Portland, Oregon garage/psych band "Sound Vendor" ... the killer "A" side features wah-wah guitar, Hammond B3 organ and a wild freak-out effects ending, the "B" side is a great Pop-Psych tune ... this is a really tough psychedelic single to find, there isn't any listed for sale or having been sold on Discogs and currently none for sale or completed on eBay.
The band Sound Vendor formed in 1966 and disbanded later in 1968 ... the single LS-25 on the Liquid Stereo label was produced by Seattle audio guru Rick Keefer ... the "A" side label text says: "Recorded In 8 Track Stereo by Keefer & Gibson" ... the "B" side label text says: "Recorded Live In The Basement by Keefer & Bass" ... published by Soul West Music (BMI) and features the band members:
Jim Dunlap - vocals Allan Gunter - bass, vocals Dave Maitland - guitar Jim Graziano - drums Greg Perry - keyboards
Condition is nice, visually I'd probably call it VG ... it's been played, shows some general wear, light scuffing and hairline scratches, but nothing serious ... I do show one small scratch on the "A" side in one of my photos ... there's a "Linda Roch" lightly written in pen on the "B" side of the label ... please excuse any glare in my photographs, which was hard to avoid when photographing the vinyl ... a rare, highly collectible 45 rpm single which will be carefully and securely packaged to insure safe, free shipping with no damage.
