Sorcery Sinister Soldiers (Century, cat. #:45484)

Hello, Yes it's 100% original. I got this copy still sealed from the former owner of a chain of record stores that operated from the mid 70s until the early 90s in Chicago's western suburbs. The band never had copies of this record shrink wrapped so it was done at the store at some point. The record still had the $7.98 price sticker on it when I bought it. I opened the shrink to further verify that it was an original.

This record was mainly distributed around the Chicago area by the band themselves; I found the record in the Chicago 'burbs so much better chance it's original.

Here we go with the details:

1.) Title sticker pasted on upper spine, copyright sticker pasted on lower spine.

2.)  Copyright sticker pasted on lower center of bottom cover.

3.) Century Records stickers on the labels are not covering the album title "Sinister Soldiers".

4.) Song "Airborne" is misspelled as "Airborn" on the Side 4 label.

Record Condition:  Disc 1: VG+  (disc has a very slight storage warp which does not affect play but may require added tone arm to play through smoothly depending on the turntable used; one mark on the intro of side 2 causes 12 clicks during the beginning of the intro during playback)

-The mark on the outer lip and intro of side 2 was caused by a very small piece of dried molten vinyl which fell out of the inner sleeve when I first took the record out. Both discs are pressed are rather thin vinyl so a storage warp could rather easily occur after 38 years inside the gatefold jacket. This small piece of molten vinyl likely ended up in the inner sleeve right after the disc was pressed and put in the sleeve. That it didn't cause more damage being on the edge of the disc in the inner sleeve all these years is a minor miracle. There is a photo of the molten mass of vinyl you can view in the listing's photos. I was going to throw it out, but if the high bidder would like it, let me know and I can include it (safely shipped to not cause harm to sleeve or discs) when I mail out the record.

-Playback on all 4 sides (besides intro of side 2) is VG++ to NM. Discs have only been played once by me to record sound clips. Due to the slight storage warps and a few superficial marks from years in storage, I am grading the discs visually as VG+, though as I said, the playback is much better. Below are sound clips of each song on the record in order.

Sleeve Condition:  VG+   (in shrink; some fraying and wear along lower edges of sleeve's opening and bottom corners of gatefold by sleeve's opening; otherwise very little wear; all stickers on spine and lower back cover are intact)
