SONNY TERRY-"I THINK I GOT THE BLUES LP"
MAD ALBINO DISCS MA501, U.S. ISSUE, RELEASED IN 1981
Featuring: WILLY DIXON, JOHNNY WINTER and STYVE HOMNICK.
This is the original 1981 private issue release on Johnny Winters own MAD ALBINO label.
This album was later released by ALLIGATOR RECORDS in 1983 under the name "WHOOPIN".
Pressed on RED vinyl and available only through mail order this pressing was strictly limited.
Some of the albums were randomly autographed by 2 of the participants on the album.
To the best of my knowledge it appears that this lp was autographed by Johnny Winter and Sonny Terry (please see photo) in blue ballpoint pen.
You will also see #73 beneath one of the autographs which I assume was a ltd. edition #.
The RECORD itself is in overall EXCELLENT/ NEAR MINT condition.
The JACKET has some edge and ringwear and a moderate amount of generally light creasing.
The creasing is more prevalant on the back cover where there is also a small (app. 3/4" or 17mm.) tear near the jacket opening.
The JACKET is in only VG- condition.

ALL RECORDS ARE MAILED IN A HARD CARDBOARD MAILER DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR RECORDS. THE RECORDS ARE REMOVED FROM THE JACKETS PRIOR TO SHIPPING ON ALL UNSEALED RECORDS. ALL RECORDS ARE WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP AND COVERED IN PLASTIC TO PREVENT POSSIBLE DAMAGE FROM RAIN OR WETNESS. "Media Mail" with delivery confirmation is $4.00. "Priority Mail" is availabe upon request. AIRMAIL to most of EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, JAPAN and SOUTH AMERICA is $15.25....to CANADA $9.25. I do combine shipping charges. On average each additional LP mailed outside the U.S. is approximately $4.50 additional WORLDWIDE.
