This Rudy Van Gelder session was recorded was recorded on January 4, 1971 and includes Sonny Stitt on tenor, with the Gibson Maestro Attachment, Virgil Jones on trumpet, Leon Spencer Jr. on organ, Melvin Sparks on guitar and Idris Mohammad on drums. SIDE A: TURN IT ON and THE BAR-B-QUE MAN. SIDE B: MISS RIVERSIDE; CRY ME A RIVER and THERE ARE SUCH THINGS. This is the Dismakers Test Pressing of that session and includes the worksheet as well. “VAN GELDER” is stamped on both sides of the blank vinyl. The Liner Notes are mine, as I was at that session. This is a STEREO recording

I have graded this LP as M- for the following reasons. The vinyl on both sides is clear of any marks or imperfections. There is no sigh of wear on or around the spindle hole.
