SONNY ROLLINS – WAY OUT WEST – CONTEMPORARY C 3530 – EX/EX – 2 TONE LINER NOTES – MONO
Recorded on March 7, 1957, this Contemporary session features Sonny Rollins on tenor, Ray Brown on bass and Shelly Manne on drums. SIDE 1: I’M AN OLD COWHAND; SOLITUDE and COME, GONE. SIDE 2: WAGON WHEELS; THERE IS NO GREATER LOVE and WAY OUT WEST. The liner notes are two tone, the both the lined box for the playlist and the name in red. This is a MONO recording.
I’ve graded both the vinyl and the record jacket both as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl has a few surface marks on it, which does not interfere with play. There is no surface noise on either side, nor any indication of tics or skips. There are a few light marks around the spindle hole, but no sign of wear. The vinyl retains its original luster. The record jacket is in excellent condition with only a little sign of wear on the lower right corner of the seam. There are not taped seams. The liner notes have some slight discoloration. They are printed in two tone, with the box outlining the playlist and “Sonny Rollins” in red, which is the original first pressing of the album. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $20.45 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
