SONNY ROLLINS: "VOLUME 2" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1558.   Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp - in outstanding condition!  Original MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NEW YORK 23 address on both labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  "EAR" and RVG engraved by hand in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Jay Jay Johnson/trombone; Horace Silver, Thelonious Monk/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Art Blakey/drums.  The vinyl is close to NEAR MINT condition (beautiful sheen)!!  The thick laminated cover is in VG+ shape & displays nicely.  There is a 2 1/2" seam split at top right corner, a smaller 2" gentle split at top center edge, and a 1 1/2" seam split at bottom right corner.  No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Why Don't I; Wail March; Misterioso; Reflections; You Stepped Out Of A Dream; Poor Butterfly.
