Sonny Rollins/ VOL. 2. Blue Note 1558. Orig. US mono pressing. Deep groove; no R on either side; RVG and ear in dead wax-both sides. LP is VG+ with a number of light sleeve lines and minor scuffs--playback is strong, very close to EX. Cover is VG+ with 6 inch clear tape on spine; some puckering of back panel at top; hint of corner wear. All star session from Rollins with Monk, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Paul Chambers, and Jay Johnson. Nice mono first pressing here. See my other rare jazz LPs by Rollins up for auction.
