Label:   PRESTIGE.  Monaural RVG-etched pressing on medium thick vinyl.  Label is yellow with black text, with deep groove.  Label address is 203 So. Washington St., Bergenfield, New Jersey.  Catalog number is PRLP 7047.   

Year:  originally issued 1956 with NYC address.

Personnel:   Sonny Rollins – tenor sax;  John Coltrane – tenor sax;  Red Garland – piano;  Paul Chambers – bass;  “Philly” Joe Jones – drums. 

Note:  This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions.  This is a fantastic opportunity for the collector who insists on mint condition.

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found.  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once.  Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity.  Labels are clean and pristine. 

JACKET:   Laminated jacket is beautiful NM with stunningly bright front and reverse panels.  No marks, dings, or blemishes.  Perfect seams and sharp corners.   An absolute gem – you will not find a nicer copy anywhere.
