SONNY ROLLINS - SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS
PRESTIGE LABEL 1958 US PRESSING WITH GLOSSY HARD CARD SINGLE SLEEVE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH GOOD CONDITION SLEEVE. PLAYS WELL WITHOUT PROBLEMS.

Released in 1958 on the Micro Groove yellow NJ PRESTIGE label with 203 South Washington Ave address and RVG stamped in the run off , I am offering today this original and hard to find 1958 US pressing of this rare Jazz album by saxophonist SONNY ROLLINS titled "SAXOPHONE COLOSSUS". This album seldomly ever turns up as a 50's pressing, A genuine rarity. The vinyl visually shows a few light scuffs and some light non feelable hairlines but these are purely cosmetic and the album plays through with very good audio with no sticks or skips etc but there is some light crackle but still a very enjoyable listen. Usually these albums when they turn up are extremely worn but considering this album is 60 years old this is a very presentable example.
The album comes complete with its original glossy hard card single sleeve which is in reasonably clean Good condition but shows some splitting and edge wear etc.
SO HARD TO FIND AS A 1958 ISSUE & A GREAT ITEM FOR ANY SERIOUS JAZZ COLLECTOR.
The VINYL, The vinyl visually shows a few light scuffs and hairlines graded as VG and audibly plays well with no sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The glossy hard card single sleeve is reasonably clean showing edge wear and splitting.
The LABELS, The yellow NJ Prestige labels are clean. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original anti static inner is worn showing splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
