SONNY ROLLINS: "A NIGHT AT THE VILLAGE VANGUARD" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #1581. Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp! Original MONO 1st pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63rd NYC address on both labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides. "EAR" etched and RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Sonny Rollins/tenor sax; Wilbur Ware or Donald Bailey/bass; Elvin Jones or Pete La Roca/drums. The vinyl is in EX+ condition, beautiful gloss!! The thick laminated cover is in EX+ shape, bright & clean with tight seams, displays wonderfully!! No seam splits, no bends or creases, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Old Devil Moon; Softly As In A Morning Sunrise; Striver's Row; Sonnymoon For Two; A Night In Tunisia; I Can't Get Started.**Crisp original BLUE NOTE Records inner sleeve included.**

There is a tiny "R" on the bottom of Side 2 label only. Accordingly, this pressing appears not to be the very first pressing as stated, but it is still a rare vintage deep groove pressing nonetheless with the engraved "ear" and RVG stamp.
